Gourmets often refer to the "Great-grand-father of wheat" as the "finest wheat of Europe". This is not surprising; it is one of the oldest and most aromatic wheat varieties ever discovered by man. It is quick and easy to prepare and therefore make it an appealing alternative to rice.
