Truly mystical. Tarragon is also called “dragon herb” as its leaves are reminiscent of the shape of a dragon’s tail. French tarragon is much more aromatic than its Russian counterpart. It smells of aniseed with a floral note. Its flavour is rounded off by a zesty basil note. Tarragon is the right companion for fish and white meat, but also works well with asparagus, cucumbers and lettuce.
