Hibiscus (red mallow)
A bright red refreshment. Often grown in pots, the flower of this tropical plant also cuts a fine figure as a tea. Its aroma is reminiscent of cranberry and red currant jam and its refreshing flavours make it a great tea for summer. Hibiscus tea can be used in punch and as a companion for game dishes. If you find the tea too tart, add a little bit of raw cane sugar or honey. Quench your thirst!
