A trip to ancient Greece. According to legend, handsome Paris struck Achilles on the heel with a poisoned arrow during the siege of Troy. Achilles, however, was clever and put yarrow on his wound, which healed his injury. Yarrow tea shimmers in a delicate green. The taste is mild-sweet and slightly fruity. Yarrow goes well with light pastas and vegetable dishes, but also rounds off fish and chicken. The dried leaves are packed by hand to best preserve the plant’s essential oils. We thank you, Achilles!
