Matcha is traditionally enjoyed with a delicate crown of foam. The most authentic way to achieve this is by using a Chasen, a handcrafted bamboo whisk.

Its fine bristles effectively blend the green tea powder with water, creating a luxuriously creamy froth.

For the best results, soften your Chasen in hot water for one minute before use to make the bristles more flexible.

After whisking, rinse the Chasen with hot water only, as detergents can damage the bristles.

With proper care, your Chasen will be a perfect companion for making matcha for years to come.
